I've always had a great experience in last 4 yrs.... they never charge me for any unexpected work... they always call with recommendations if there is something I question.,, office manager explains everything in detail.. I think they are fabulous and glad they were recomended to
Quick service, but they charge you for things that you never asked to get done. Just got an oil change today, the sign outside said $25.99 said that was a fair price for an oil change. When the bill came at the front desk the women said $36 please, and I mentioned doesn't the sign out front say $35.99, her response was that the price depended on the amount of oil they put in. Also they put coolant in too, even though I clearly asked fro just and oil change, nothing else! Therefore, long story short go to the place down the road Grey's Garage, better service, and much fairer prices, but I don't recommend Harry's Auto Repair.
Went in to have a new clutch put in for my standard (stick shift) Toyota Corolla. Was charged $158 more then the quote that was given to me. I asked the reason for the overage amount and the mechanic/owner said that it was because he had to tap the bolts that fell on the ground when they had to take off the skid plate and that is why he charged me a lot more then the quoted amount. When I got home, I saw that the skid plate was trailing on the ground. Harry's auto repair obviously lied to me. Because of the blatant lies; I would never go back there. Don't trust Harry's Auto Repair!!!! He never re-taped the bolts but still had the nerve to charge the $158 for work that he said that he did but never actually completed.
Harry's is a no fuss no muss kind of garage. I have had my car inspected there twice and it takes less than an hour. Make an appointment for other work but inspections are first come first serve.
