Our son has grown so much since he started his journey almost 3 years ago. He's a totally different kid than he was when he started - he was very timid and fearful 3 years ago, but now he has confidence and leadership skills that were absent before. We credit the amazing staff of 5 Dragons Martial Arts Academy in Salisbury, especially Sensei Rick. He has been wonderful not only with our son, but with the other kids and all the families as well. The summer camps are very well organized and offer long days and day camps during school breaks.
It's so well run, the instructors are world famous martial arts champions and they teach authentic traditional Japanese Kyokushin Karate.
The academy offers many classes and workshops to the community, and often non-members are encouraged to attend.

My son has been enrolled for eight years, starting with the Kids Karate program and continuing into the youth Marrial Arts program. My husband and I have both taken adult martial arts and Fitness Kickboxing. The instructors are talented, caring people, and the facilities are clean and bright.
There is no easy black belts awarded at this school, they grow their students from within to develop a strong mind and body to prepare them for challenging tests as well as lifes challenges.
